Something I’m really looking out for with Jim Leonhard this year
While I rewatch Bills Rams 2024 44-42 loss, I started to think about Jim Leonhard’s defense this year. McDermotts defenses certainly beat up on bad qbs and offenses, but I always felt helpless when McDs defenses were up against great play callers and qbs. That’s what I’ll really be keeping an eye on this year with Leonhard, especially when trying to anticipate how this defense might hold up in the playoffs.
Three games I have on my radar that might be the biggest tests for Leonard’s defense in the regular season: Rams (Week 5), KC (Wk 12) & Chicago (Wk 15). There’s plenty of great QBs and playcallers aside from those on the schedule, but I’m really interests to see how we hold up in those spots
p.s. I completely forgot Amari Cooper got 14 targets in that Rams game. Josh was desperately looking for that to work
