"Mike Tomlin Gives Josh Allen Big Endorsement
In an interview with Pro Football Focus, Tomlin was asked what current NFL quarterback he would love to coach. Tomlin passed over former rivals Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens and Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals, instead picking Allen.
“It’s Josh for me, man,” Tomlin said on the PFF NFL Show. “It just seems like he’s at his best in the most critical moments. Late in the games, he finds a way to do it, and he can do it with his arms. He can do it with his legs. He looks like not only does he want it, he needs it. He looks like he’s built for it,” said Tomlin.
“I got a lot of respect for that dude. That’s the dude as far as I’m concerned.”
