Going to the Patriots game in October

Going out to Buffalo for a few days to see the new stadium and see the falls. Was planning on on day on the US side of the falls and another on the Canada side and then of course one day for game day. What are some things that are must see/do while out there, we have children so im looking for family friendly things to do. Im just having trouble because all im seeing is tours and while I will probably end up taking a tour id like to see other things the area has to offer
