Alec Anderson reportedly triumphs in battle for left guard spot on Buffalo Bills roster

‘For Anderson, it’s the culmination of going from a practice squad player to a starter. Buffalo originally signed Anderson as an undrafted free agent following the 2022 NFL Draft. He failed to make the roster as a rookie, but Buffalo liked him enough to keep him on their practice squad. Anderson would make the team’s 53-man roster in 2023, but was inactive all season for the team. He finally got onto the field in 2024, playing in all 17 games and making four starts. He continued to find his way onto the field in 2025 with 17 appearances and two starts.’
